These Terms of Service govern your use of Gulo. By using Gulo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Gulo.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gulo. If you are under 18, use Gulo only with appropriate parent or guardian awareness and follow all safety restrictions in the app.
Your Account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account and profile information.
- You may not impersonate another person or create misleading profiles.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
- You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Activities and Meetups
Gulo helps users plan and discover runs, walks, and hikes, but Gulo does not supervise activities or verify every route, location, host, participant, or meetup detail. Use judgment before meeting others, and follow local laws, trail rules, weather advisories, and safety practices.
User Content
You are responsible for content you submit, including profiles, activity details, routes, messages, photos, reports, and other information. You grant Gulo permission to host, display, process, and share your content as needed to operate the app.
Community Rules
You must follow our Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, spam, deceive, exploit, or endanger other users. Do not post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or unsafe content.
Reports, Blocks, and Enforcement
Gulo may review reports, restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when we believe it is necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. Blocking a user may limit profile, chat, and activity visibility between users.
Third-Party Services
Gulo may integrate with third-party services such as Supabase, Resend, Google, Strava, Apple Maps, and device operating system services. Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their terms and policies.
No Emergency or Safety Service
Gulo is not an emergency service, route safety service, medical service, coaching service, or background tracking service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.
Disclaimers
Gulo is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Gulo will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gulo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from user meetups, routes, activities, or third-party services.
Account Deletion
You may request account deletion by emailing support@runwithgulo.com from the email address on your Gulo account.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Gulo changes. If you continue using Gulo after updates take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
